Software Deployment Engineer Windows & Linux
As a Software Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying our flagship product, Likewise Enterprise, to multiple customers while providing constructive feedback to the development and engineering teams. This position provides ample opportunity for demonstrating creativity and innovation.
We have immediate openings for deployment engineering positions, responsibilities including, but not limited to, understanding the Deployment process for Likewise Software and following the necessary steps to assess, test, pilot, deploy and remediate all components of the Likewise Enterprise solution to our customers while providing valuable feedback to the Software Development team. Minimum candidate requirements
- Must hold at least BS or MS in Computer Science and Engineering.
- Must have 3-5 years worth of systems administration or consulting experience managing large networks.
- Must have strong Microsoft Active Directory experience.
- Must have robust, process-based troubleshooting skills.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in one of the following operating systems: Windows family or Linux/Unix family.
Linux/Unix expertise: Should have 2+ years systems management with 2 or more of the following systems: - RPM-based Linux - DEB-based Linux - AIX - HP-UX - Solaris - Other Unix/Linux systems that may be added to the support matrix - NIS or NIS+ Windows expertise: Should have 5+ years experience administering or designing Microsoft Active Directory preferably including: - AD Site topology and replication - ADSI scripting/programming - Kerberos troubleshooting - Must be a self-starter, creative, highly motivated and responsible.
- Must have a solid understanding of the project management lifecycle from assessment or discovery through design, planning, implementation, and closure or review.

Software Design Engineer in Test
Likewise Software, a leader in identity management solutions is seeking two software development engineers in test. These SDETs will serve as an integral part of the team responsible for shipping world class solutions such as Likewise Enterprise. Professional attention to detail, experience dealing with intimidating schedules, and the ability to leverage and develop automation tools and test harnesses are mandatory. The SDETs will be working in a software development environment that includes Active Directory, Windows, most major versions of Linux, as well as commercially deployed Unix hardware and software configurations.
Here are the skills we seek
- At least two years experience in an enterprise level software development and/or test environment
- C, C++, C#, .NET, Perl, and bash scripting
- Linux setup and configuration
- Familiarity with network topologies, sniffers, and the ability to troubleshoot network issues
- Ability to set up and configure Active Directory domains, including group policy
- Prior experience developing tools specific for a qa environment (e.g, diagnostic tools, test harnesses)
- VMWare experience (automation a plus)
- Experience in qa environments that involve support of a large variety of OS platforms
- Immediate availability
- Relational database development in a qa environment a plus
- Experience with Sparc/Solaris, AIX, and HP/UX a plus

This position involves the design and development of the client and server pieces of our flagship cross platform identity solution: Likewise Enterprise. The candidate will be expected to be able to understand code written by many hands, and make well considered decisions on implementation strategies. - Should have an in-depth understanding of the Windows process and thread management, the Win32 programming environment and/or kernel mode programming, an understanding of NT services, NT device drivers, Windows services, Windows RPC infrastructure and security subsystems

This position involves being co-located at one of our leading strategic partner’s facilities and jointly working on both Likewise and other open source projects. The right candidate posses not only strong technical skills, but also has a good working understanding of Open Source projects as well as the interpersonal and communication skills to work well with one of our most valued partners.

Lead Generation Manager
Likewise Software has an immediate opening for a Lead Generation Manager who will generate qualified leads through online and offline direct marketing initiatives. This person will develop and test innovative lead generation programs from concept to back-end analysis to provide a steady pipeline of qualified leads.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, in this hands on role you
will drive lead generation strategy and programs. - Develop and manage demand generation programs.
- Manage web properties and facilities for key content delivery, sales
support and messaging including sales tools. - Lead company's internet marketing efforts, including search engine marketing and the development and maintenance of the company's website .
- Demonstrated understanding of email marketing best practices
- Design the strategy and manage the execution of high-impact go-to-market campaigns to include a mix of demand generation elements such as seminars, direct mail, e-marketing, Webinars, trade shows, user groups and conferences
- Manage and negotiate with external marketing vendors/agencies as needed
- Develop closed-loop processes to measure ROI for all campaigns and produce weekly, monthly & quarterly reports of lead generation activity.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Excel and MS Office software applications.
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and operate in start-up environment.
Qualifications:
- 5-9+ years of relevant marketing experience
- Proven ability to achieve goals in the fast-paced, high growth and high pressure environment
- Proven experience managing marketing programs budget and ROI
- Strong communication and copywriting skills
Education:
- BA/BS required
